Amazing for sensitive skinned people and Gentle enough for babies.

The guys, surfies and tradies are LOVING this one, as less aromatic on the face, non-sting when surfing or sweating outside, healing up sun damage previously done and soothing for red or eczema-prone skin.

Women are even using as a night creme and LOVING the results!

Newborn skin is thinner than us older humans and therefore more sensitive and capable of absorbing environmental nasties. This certified natural (a world first!) sunscreen is designed to be gentle on sensitive skin (no matter what your age) and provides powerful protection to the skin, without the potentially harmful effects of chemical sunscreen ingredients.

For babies under 6 months, we always recommend covering up and limiting direct sun exposure, and sunscreen as an additional line of defence.

Product details:
Natural sunscreen is perfect for babies and anyone else with sensitive skin. Powerful yet applies invisibly. Certified natural, chemical-free and full of practitioner strength ingredients. Formulated by medical herbalist, registered nurse and naturopath, Jules Bright.

Moringa – 'The miracle tree' - an extraordinary ingredient with high medicinal benefits to protect and nourish the skin. Various parts of the Moringa provide sources of protein, vitamins, beta-carotene, amino acids and various phenolics.

Harakeke – Soothing and softening agent. Protecting against sunburned skin, reducing redness, soreness, rashes and peeling.

Our protective power comes from zinc oxide, spring water, jojoba oil, sorbitan, kawakawa oil, coconut oil, stearic acid, glyceryl stearate, glycerin, tamanu oil, beeswax, lecithin, coco caprylate, shea butter, vitamin e, allantoin, bisabolol, german chamomile, manono, moringa, active manuka honey, himalayan salt, kawakawa extract, geogard, sweet orange, lavender oil, sandalwood oil.

Our pure and natural formula is free from nasty chemicals. Our ingredients are cruelty-free – never tested on animals, non-GMO, biodegradable, reef safe, made with organic and wildcrafted ingredients. All packaging is also recyclable and sourced from sustainable forests.

NO genetically modified or irradiated ingredients
NO parabens
NO sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS)
NO artificial fragrances
NO petrochemicals
NO titanium dioxide

How to use:
Apply liberally and rub in well before heading out into the sun. Although 2 hours water resistant, we recommend applying our sunscreen before and after swimming or sweating it out. Reapply every 2 hours while out in the sun.

Although this is a product made from natural ingredients, we recommend a patch test before you slather it on, and if irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Please avoid direct contact with your eyes, that’s what sunglasses are for!

Best stored in a cool dry place (below 27ºC/80ºF), away from direct sunlight (even sunscreen needs protection).

Maker Profile

earth's kitchen

Earth’s Kitchen (EK) is a skincare brand founded on the philosophy that nature knows best when it comes to caring for our skin. Founder Jules Bright’s highly successful nursing career skidded to a halt in 1997 while living in India, when she was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. Rescued by locals, she was nursed back to health using natural remedies passed down through generations of local tribespeople. Astounded at her rapid recovery, the experience transformed her thinking and rocketed her onto a new path of discovery: to uncover and share with the world the healing wisdom held and honoured by indigenous cultures across our planet.

Jules went on to gain triple diplomas in Naturopathy, Body Therapy and Medical Herbalism – specialising in Rongoa, New Zealand native plant medicine. On opening her lab, Jules continued formulating and perfecting her natural sunscreen.

Incorporating powerful natural ingredients and recipes, Earth’s Kitchen is based on the concept of Botanical Intelligence. Modern day skincare can include a host of synthetic ingredients that are neither good for our bodies or our earth. Instead, we have created a new range of wild-crafted skincare products that hero the efficacy and potency of natural ingredients. Fusing indigenous ingredients and methods with the latest technology, we are proud to present a range of skincare that contains nothing synthetic or unnecessary, just naturally effective ingredients that deliver great results and feel great to use.

The world's 1st BioGro certified natural sunscreen SPF50

That’s a big deal! Our sun protection is the world’s 1st BioGro certified natural sunscreen SPF50 and carries the Certified Natural label, authorised by Natrue. This means you can feel comfortable knowing you're purchasing a true, completely natural cosmetic product that meets global certification standards, not a greenwashed one.

We’ve spent the past 18 years perfecting our formulas to ensure we provide the highest quality natural sunscreen that both protects and nourishes your skin. We wear the badge of natural certification proudly and in turn, proudly share what we’ve created at Earth’s Kitchen, with you.
