




The contemporary design features a brushed silver finish with exposed copper at the end of each slender squared handle. The copper will tarnish with use, which adds character, but the shine can be maintained with polishing if preferred.
Produced in Tsubame in the Niigata prefecture, a region long known for it’s skilled metalcraft artisans. Since the 1920's Kobo Aizawa (for 'Workshop Aizawa') has focused on making cutlery as art objects - selected for the permanent design collection at MoMA, New York.

Kobo Aizawa
Established in 1922, based in Tsunami in Niigata Prefecture, Aizawa is known as the leading Japanese manufacturer in quality stainless steel kitchenware. One of the iconic Aizawa matt black tableware collection was also handpicked as a permanent design collection under the Museum of Modern Art New York (MoMA) on 7th October 1986.
