Returns & Refund Policy

We hope you love everything you order from Made Good. But if something’s not quite right, we’re happy to help with an exchange, store credit, or refund on full-priced items that meet the conditions below.


How to Start a Return

Just email us at hello@madegood.co.nz with your order number and a note about what you’d like to return.

Once approved, please send your items back within 14 days of receiving them.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  ⋄ In their original condition – unworn, unwashed, and unused
  In original packaging with all items and tags included
  Carefully packaged for the return trip

Please use a tracked courier service, as we can’t take responsibility for lost or damaged parcels.

Returns without prior approval can’t be accepted.

Return shipping costs are covered by the customer.


Exchanges, Store Credit & Refunds

For full-priced items, you can choose from:

  Exchange (depending on stock availability)
  Store credit for the full value of item (manage via your account page)
  Refund to your original payment method

For clothing and footwear, returns are accepted if items are unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original packaging.

Sale and discounted items (including Flash Sales) are final sale and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Shipping charges from your original order are non-refundable.

All returns are at the discretion of Made Good.


Faulty or Damaged Items

We check every order carefully before it leaves us, but if you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us straight away.

If the item is confirmed faulty, we’ll offer a replacement (if available) or your choice of a store credit or refund, including any shipping costs incurred.

Please return faulty goods within 14 days of receiving them.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  Perishable goods (e.g. food)
  ⋄ Custom or personalised products
  ⋄ Personal care items (e.g. skincare, beauty tools, body brushes, knickers)
  ⋄ Pierced earrings and face masks
  ⋄ Gift cards
  ⋄ Sale or discounted items (unless faulty)

Processing Time

Once your return arrives, please allow up to 5 working days for inspection and processing.
We’ll email you once it’s complete, and confirm your exchange, store credit, or refund.

 

Gift Cards

Gift cards are the perfect way to let someone choose their own Made Good favourites – but please note they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Each card is valid for five years and can be used online at checkout. Make sure the recipient’s email is entered correctly, especially if you’re scheduling a delivery—once a gift card is sent, it’s considered delivered, and we can’t resend or cancel it.
