general sleep (15)

General Sleep want you to sleep well. And good sleep starts with peace of mind.

General Sleep was born over a fireside evening of good wine and conversation, recognising the struggle to find good pyjamas: ones made from ethical and natural, soft-to-skin fabrics in classic, flattering styles.

Blurring the line between what you wear to bed and what you wear outside, there is now no need to change when you answer the door or pop out to the shops for fresh bread. And for those slow afternoons, it’s simply: togs on and straight to the ocean.

General Sleep feel it’s important to trace their process from start to finish. Their organic cotton and cotton-linen was developed and woven by a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified manufacturer who employs green energy including solar power and rainwater harvesting for their production house. All offcuts are gathered and recycled into paper or labels to reduce surplus. All garments are made with a transparent supply chain, built up over generations, establishing relationships in all aspects of production, right back to the cotton grower.

Their core offering includes a selection of hand-loomed fabrics, supporting a community of artisan weavers practising centuries-old handcraft traditions, that have been passed through generations.

They make sure; you can rest easy in General Sleep.
