Nůž is a family‑run knife maker based in Waiuku, New Zealand, blending traditional craftsmanship with sustainable innovation. Each blade is individually handcrafted in the Svord workshop – where more than 40 years of knife-making expertise lives on in every piece.
They’re serious about materials – the blades are made from Swedish carbon steel, recycled from old saw blades, while the handles come from FSC-certified American Ash wood. Three brass rivets hold everything together in a clean, purposeful design.
Nůž is committed to sustainability. For every knife sold, they offset production emissions through Trees That Count, helping regenerate native New Zealand forests.
At their core, Nůž is about making tools that are built to last, feel good in your hand, and minimise environmental impact – because great knives shouldn’t cost the earth.
