The beautiful yet robust walnut handle and pull-top, speckled white lid, and olive drab body. Use this vintage-inspired kettle for steeping tea, warming cocktails, simmering broth, and boiling water for hot chocolate and coffee. Durable enough for your camp set and elegant enough for indoor use – at home on the hob next to your favorite cast iron.

The two-tone enamelware is crafted with a solid steel core and a rust-resistant heated glass exterior, producing a study and sleek piece. The interior is a smooth and speckled enameled white, while the exterior boasts a sophisticated matte olive drab color, complete with our signature bronze-like stainless steel rim. In addition to retaining the characteristics of traditional enamelware, the smooth interior also guards against food stains, while the textured exterior provides superior grip and resilience.

CARE

Caring for your enamelled steel kettle is simple — and with a little love, it’ll serve you beautifully for years to come. Please follow these easy steps to get the best from your kettle…

Before First Use
⋄ Remove all packaging and stickers.
⋄ Wash the inside with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or brush. Avoid anything abrasive.
Good to know:
Your Barebones enamel-on-steel kettle is compatible with all heat sources, including induction.
⋄ Use a burner similar in size to the kettle’s base.
⋄ Always keep the handle in the upright position while heating.
⋄ Avoid using high heat settings – excessive heat can severely damage the enamel surface.

Using Your Kettle
⋄ Always fill your kettle at least a third full before heating. Boiling it dry or heating when empty can damage the enamel surface.
⋄ Fire & Gas hobs: Use medium-high heat. Keep the flame centred under the base. Always keep the handle upright and away from direct heat.
⋄ Induction hobs: Use medium-high heat (around level 7). Avoid high power or ‘boost’ settings as this will damage the enamel coating.
⋄ Keep the handle upright to avoid accidental contact with heat, especially when using multiple burners.
⋄ Always use the lid while boiling. The rear stopper keeps it securely in place when pouring.
⋄ Empty your kettle after each use and leave it to dry, especially if you’re not using it again that day or so.

Caring for the Kettle
⋄ Avoid sudden temperature changes – let the kettle cool down a little before refilling with cold water. The steel expands and contracts faster than the glass-like enamel, which can lead to stress cracks if cooled too quickly.
⋄ Hand wash only using warm, soapy water, avoiding anything abrasive – the enamelware stainless steel rim is heat-treated to create a bronze-like patina finish. This can be stripped of its unique colouring by acidic foods, such as lemon, and some harsh detergents and cleansers. We recommend hand washing the teapot to protect the natural walnut wood and help maintain the original look.

A Note on Appearance
⋄ Small variations in the finish, like tiny black dots or slight unevenness, are part of the kettle’s handmade character.
⋄ You may notice light rust marks inside the spout over time — this is normal, harmless, and won’t affect performance.

A perfect kettle/teapot for a herbal brew. It sits on the fire and always gets a comment. I think I have inspired at least four sales.
