Re.Lana (Italian for knitting) is characterised by lightness and softness like a wool knit. Designed to absorb water in seconds while gently pampering your skin with fine, three-dimensional weave. With a dark and neutral palette and a sophisticated design, the Lana towel bridges the gap between functional modern living and indulgence.

Kontex towels are woven at gentle speeds on an old fashioned weaving machine in Imabari, where towel-making has been the regional speciality for over 200 years. This slow weaving process brings out the natural softness of the yarn, making the towels extremely soft, yet durable enough for everyday use. Kontex towels are highly absorbent, lightweight, fast-drying and environmentally friendly.

SIZING

⋄ Made in Imabari, Japan
⋄ 100% cotton (50% recycled cotton / 50% organic cotton)
⋄ Travel, Daily Use & Easy Storage
⋄ Made on slow weave looms - soft and silky yet durable
⋄ Highly Absorbent, Midweight, Fast-drying

Available in four sizes:
Bath • Hair • Hand • Face

Image showing four overlapped rectangles labeled with sizes: XL (80 cm x 145 cm), L (50 cm x 110 cm), M (40 cm x 85 cm), and S (40 cm x 42 cm). Each rectangle represents a Vintage Waffle Towel from the Bath ⋄ Hair ⋄ Hand ⋄ Face collection, crafted on traditional Japanese looms by Kontex.

Featuring the same slow open weave and airy plushness as its namesake, the Re.Lana towel collection is made kinder by utilizing scrap cotton by products that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Just one bath towel upcycles 179g of discarded cotton, minimizing CO2 emissions and reducing the use of water and dyes in the process.

Alternatively – the Face size can be used as a general cloth, Hand size can be used as a towel around the kitchen and washroom. The Hair size can be used as a kids towel. The Bath size is a product with a wide range of use such as blankets and shawls, and it is popular as a lap blanket at many stores and restaurants in Japan.
